I wanted to do something slightly different for this post. Since I’ve had these photo’s, I wanted to share them with people, but having 25 odd photos to post for a single day of the project 365 wasn’t really how I planned to do it, and didn’t want to fill my entire ‘from the cutting room floor section’ with a tonne of the same pictures. So, I’ve decided to now make a new section of this blog for idea’s and activities that can be done with your kids, or for your kids. So when I come across such things, I will take a dozen odd photos and I will be sharing these with you!
About a month, maybe 2, ago, I wanted to go somewhere to get a photo as part of my project, because, lets face it – there are already are, and will continue to be, hundreds of photos from inside our little dark unit and I want some variety. So we headed off in search of some street art I had been told about. It was a great way to spend the afternoon and probably spent about an hour just studying the art work, taking photos and giving Perry a run around in between the rain showers, although it could be done a lot quicker than this.
For those in Perth who may want to check it out, it is down a little laneway in between Grosvenor Road and Chelmsford Road which are both off Beaufort Street in Mt Lawley. Apparently there’s quite few other laneways around other suburbs too and the facebook page Streets of Perth should be able to help you out here, but they are in the process of creating a website too. For everyone else, you should really have a google and see if there is any street art near you, because there are some fantastic pieces of work out there that shouldn’t be missed!
Hope you enjoy them!
Thanks again for stopping by!
